Each Wendesday throughout the season, Ray Horner speak with Guardians VP Bobby DiBiasio. This week they remembered Bob Feller and Larry Doby, and discussed the team.

Jim Pfander, GM of the RubberDucks, joined Ray on the Ray Horner Morning Show. The season has begun. Ray and Jim discussed the team, the WAKR Hawaiian Burger, and promotions to look forward to.

This week's athletes are from Garfield CLC.

Aiyana Stafford is a Junior, a 3 year letter winner in track and field, and is part of the cheerleading team. She runs the 100m, and 200m races and is also a part of the 4x200m, and 4x100m relays. Aiyana is a leader on the track and helps guide the younger runners in the right direction during practice and the meets. She is an excellent student as well with a 3.51 GPA.
 
Quinn Eisenzimmer is a Junior and 3 year letter winner in track and field. He runs the 100m, 200m, and 400m races and is also a part of the 4x200m, and 4x100m relays. Quinn sets a great example for the younger runners and is an excellent leader. He excels off the track as well with a 3.06 GPA. 

Every month, Ray talks with a Cleveland Clinic Akron General about what they're doing to help throughout the community, medical issues, and more. Spring is here and with it comes allergy season. Dr. Laura Lininger joined the Ray Horner Morning Show to discuss allergy season, prevention, and treatment.

Akron RubberDucks Season

Ken Babby, owner of the RubberDucks, joined the Ray Horner Morning Show. With the season now in full swing, he talked about the excitement ahead, the ballpark, and more.

Akron Fire reports that while one person inside a burning house at 832 Huber Street in Akron was able to escape safely; they were unable to save another person who was trapped inside.

Fire officials say it hapened at 3:05AM, this morning (Friday), that the structure was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived, and that the roof collapsed. In addition, they say one firefighter received a minor burn.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

Film School: Some Like It Hot

Film Study Professor Joe Fortunato joins the Ray Horner Morning Show every Friday to discuss classic films. This week they covered 'Some Like It Hot', 1959 Comedy and Crime film. 

 
Golf Pro, Dan Dauk, joins Ray every Friday with tips and info for golfers. This week, they focused on the Augusta National Golf Course, host of the 2024 Masters. They discussed the competition and more. 

Dr. Justin Dunn, Cardiologist with SUMMA, joined the Ray Horner Morning Show. He talked with Ray about weight loss drugs, their impact on heart health, and more.
