A 23 year old Cuyahoga Falls man has been arrested, and charged with robbery for a hold up at the PNC Bank branch in Tallmadge on June 23rd.
Tallmadge police say Jacob K. Onusic jumped over the counter and demanded money from employees, and he was identified through traces of DNA left at the crime scene. He's in the Summit County jail now.
Still at large, though, is a suspect who drove the get-away car, in which Onusic is alleged to have escaped.
Stow Police say a man walked into the Fifth Third Bank at 911 Graham Road around 12:30 on the afternoon of Saturday, July 8th. He was wearing a mask over his face and jumped the counter, demanding money from the bank tellers, or he'd shoot them.
While police say the suspect never showed a weapon and no one was injured, the man did get away with some cash. Before leaving the bank, the man forced employees into an office and then again threatened to shoot anyone who tried to stop him from getting away.
