For families looking to add a four-legged family member, the Falls Furry Friends Adoptathon on June 24 outside of city hall may be the perfect opportunity.
Held from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the south parking lot outside of the Cuyahoga Falls utility billing department, the event will feature the Humane Society of Summit County’s Mobile Adoption Unit, where animals such as cats and dogs will be available to meet guests and potentially find a permanent home.
The afternoon will also feature giveaways, pet safety decals, Envelopes of Life for emergency preparedness, pet bandanas, dog treats, animal safety education and much more. Guests are invited to bring their pets.
The Falls Furry Friends Adoptathon represents a partnership between the Humane Society of Summit County, the City of Cuyahoga Falls and Western Reserve Hospital.
