As the draft approaches for the Cleveland Browns on Thursday, it would not surprise many to see them again trade down from #8, but they could stay at that spot and pick up either another lineman, or perhaps an Ohio favorite.

Tom Reed from the Cleveland Plain Dealer says that if the Browns stay at 8, they could take Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott, or they could solidify the trenches with Jack Conklin, the offensive tackle out of Michigan State, or go with Ronnie Stanley, the tackle out of Notre Dame.

Reed says it's all about what the Browns want, and what their needs are.

"There's a lot of range there, with things they can do with that #8 pick," Reed explained.

He says that they might take a look at quarterback later in the first round, either Paxton Lynch out of Memphis or local product from Walsh Jesuit, Connor Cook (who played collegiately at Michigan State).

AUDIO What's Next For Josh Gordon?

The Josh Gordon story has taken yet another turn after his petition for reinstatement to the NFL has been denied.

Tom Reed from the Cleveland Plain Dealer joined Brad Russell in the Average Sports Show to talk about the troubled wideout and what's next for him as he continues to battle his issues with substance abuse.

Reed says that Gordon can lobby for reinstatement again in August. He was suspended in Feburary of 2015 for a failed drug test and reportedly failed another one recently.

Tom says he sees a young man who hasn't made the most of what he's been given.

"We're talking about a guy who's played 5 games since 2013, and it's been one of the biggest wastes of talent in sports I've ever seen."
