Due to the personal troubles of its cast members, some believe there was a curse surrounding the show Diff’rent Strokes. But one of the remaining members of the popular program shrugs it off.
Todd Bridges, who played Willis on Diff'rent Strokes, joined the Ray Horner Morning Show to promote his shows at the Funny Stop Comedy Club. Bridges talked about the family atmosphere of the show both on and off the air, with co-stars Gary Coleman, Dana Plato, and Conrad Bain. The three child stars had their share of personal issues, but Bridges overcame his and has been sober since 1991.
Bridges has a stage show that mixes stories about his life with drugs and child acting to commenting on points of human interest. Two shows Friday and Saturday at the Funny Stop, both at 7:15 and 9:30.
