Northeast Ohio news will soon lose its voice. For the last 38 years, Leon Bibb has graced the airwaves of the area, anchoring newscasts and interviewing everyone from local heroes to presidents. His final newscast will be July 28th, sharing the desk with Lee Jordan, who is also retiring. Bibb joined the Ray Horner Morning Show, guest-hosted by Tony Mazur, to talk about his long career. Bibb, a native of the Glenville neighborhood in Cleveland, tells Tony he plans to “stay relevant” around town. He says he would still like to do some on-air commentary, and he wants to finish a manuscript he’s been writing and turn it into a book.
