AUDIO OSU Spring Football Rolling Along

The Ohio State football team is wrapping up spring practice, and with some holes to fill at certain positions due to graduation and early entry into the NFL, coach Urban Meyer has to see what the youngsters can do to prove themselves moving forward.

Marcus Hartman from the Buckeye Sports Bulletin joined the Sam Bourquin Show to talk about the spring season and what players are doing their best to separate themselves from the pack and become contributors for the Buckeyes this fall.

One of the more interesting battles has been at backup QB between Joe Burrow and Stephen Collier. Marcus says he'll be watching that matchup closely to see who will be #2 behind incumbent starter J.T Barrett.

The Buckeyes are also looking for depth along the offensive line as well, who are losing some multi-year starters, including Taylor Decker to the National Football League's draft later this month. Marcus talked about how the line play and finding the next starters and stars up front is crucial to OSU's success.
