AUDIO Tyrrell, Hoban Knights Columbus Bound

The Archbishop Hoban Knights will be playing in the State Title game this Thursday night against Toledo Central Catholic following their win over Zanesville last week in the state semifinals 33-21.

Coach Tim Tyrrell joined the Sam Bourquin Show Monday to talk about his team's effort and the upcoming contest with the Fighting Irish.

Tyrrell said the Knights left too much on the field, but he credited his offensive line and star running back Todd Sibley for getting things going in the second half.

"It was great for the Hoban community," Tyrrell said. "Our kids are happy, but our goal is this game coming up."

As far as the opponent, Coach Tyrrell says the Fighting Irish are a battle-tested bunch that can run the ball effectively and impose their will on people.
