Aaron has been working with RCRG since August of 2008 covering various news and sporting events. He graduated in 2003 from St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron. He then went onto the University of Akron in May of 2008 with a degree in Radio/TV & Media Productions and a minor in Psychology. It was at WZIP & ZTV where Aaron developed a passion for radio especially Sports Radio. While attending the University of Akron you could hear Aaron on Sundays doing the "Sports Power Talk" program. Aaron covers City Hall, County Council and Akron School Board beats and handles traffic updates weekday afternoons on 1590 WAKR, 97.5 WONE and 94.9 WQMX. The City Series Boys' Basketball Championship will be taking place tomorrow at Firestone High School in what will be another competitive matchup.

First-year Buchtel head coach Matt Futch spoke with Sam Bourquin and Brad Russell ahead of the contest Friday.

AUDIO 'Emotional Moment' For HOF Inductee Kramer

Green Bay Packers legendary guard and a member of the Class of 2018 Jerry Kramer spoke with Sam and Brad on Wednesday.

He spoke about the emotional moment when David Baker knocked on his door during Super Bowl Weekend to tell him that he will be enshrined at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton.

AUDIO Koby Altman Excited About New Deals

Cleveland Cavaliers General Manager Koby Altman joined the Sam and Brad Show to talk about the new-look Cavs and how the new additions to the team have panned out.

"I think the whole organization feels rejuvenated," Koby explained.  "We needed to put some wind in our sails, and these deals helped us do that."

The new additions to the team are Larry Nance Jr. Jordan Clarkson, Rodney Hood, and George Hill.  The Wine and Gold will play the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight at 8pm with coverage beginning at 7:30pm on 1590 WAKR. 

Tom Withers of the Associated Press joined the Sam and Brad Show on Monday to talk about the new-look Cavaliers and how they have a new bounce in their step after revamping the roster and beating Boston.

The Cavs will play the Oklahoma City Thunder tomorrow before the All Star Break.

 

Keynote speaker and Baseball Hall of Famer Robbie Alomar spoke with Sam and Brad ahead of tonight's Hot Stove Banquet.

Robbie talked about his memories playing in Cleveland, and his baseball journey.

Robbie will be speaking along with Sheldon Ocker, who was the recipient of the JG Taylor Spink Award for journalism and will also be in Cooperstown this summer.

Cleveland.com sports columnist Bud Shaw spoke with Sam and Brad ahead of the Cavaliers game with the Atlanta Hawks.

He discussed the four new players aquired in trades, Larry Nance, Jordan Clarkson, Rodney Hood, and George Hill.

 

CBS Sports NBA writer James Herbert joined the Sam and Brad Show to talk about the NBA Trade deadline and the Cleveland Cavaliers' newest players.

East running back Devanier Floyd spoke with Sam Bourquin after signing on with the University of Akron to play football for the Zips.

He says he's excited to stay in his hometown and playing ball for the Zips program.

 "I built very strong relationships with the people there (at Akron), and it was the right place for me to go," Floyd said.
