Aaron has been working with RCRG since August of 2008 covering various news and sporting events. He graduated in 2003 from St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron. He then went onto the University of Akron in May of 2008 with a degree in Radio/TV & Media Productions and a minor in Psychology. It was at WZIP & ZTV where Aaron developed a passion for radio especially Sports Radio. While attending the University of Akron you could hear Aaron on Sundays doing the "Sports Power Talk" program. Aaron covers City Hall, County Council and Akron School Board beats and handles traffic updates weekday afternoons on 1590 WAKR, 97.5 WONE and 94.9 WQMX. AUDIO Scotty D Returning With Picks

Scotty D in Vegas returned with his picks in college and pro football against the spread for entertainment purposes only.

In the college football realm, in the Dollar General Bowl,  Scotty likes Appalachian State (+7 1/2) against Toledo, he also likes Duke and Northern Illinois in the Quick Lane Bowl (under the 48 total points).

In the pros, Scotty D has a two-team NFL teaser with Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles.

AUDIO New KSU Coach Excited To Lead Program

New Kent State University head coach Sean Lewis spoke with Sam Bourquin on a Thursday afternoon shortly after he was announced as the 22nd football coach in school history.

Lewis comes to Kent from Syracuse University, where he served as offensive coordinator.  He will be taking over for coach Paul Haynes, who was the coach of the Golden Flashes from 2013-2017.


ESPN and ABC correspondent and reporter Tom Rinaldi spoke with Sam Bourquin to talk about the Greater Cleveland Sports Awards January 17.

Rinaldi will be hosting the 18th annual event at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel next month. Former Cleveland Cavalier Zydrunas Ilgauskas will receive the Lifetime Acheivement Award.

Archbishop Hoban football players Reid Allen and Daeshon Martin spoke with Sam Bourquin Tuesday as the 2017 Knights football team celebrated three in a row.

The celebration was held at Rockne's Pub on Merriman Road.

AUDIO Tom Withers Talks LeBron, Cavaliers

Sam Bourquin spoke with the AP's Tom Withers to talk Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James ahead of the Bucks game tonight.

Doug Dieken, color analyst for the Cleveland Browns Radio Network spoke with Sam Bourquin after the Browns' loss to the Ravens Sunday, 27-10.

The Browns are now 0-14 on the season and have two more games left (Chicago and Pittsburgh) to avoid a winless season, the second in NFL history.

AUDIO Mount Union Wins 13th National Title

Sam Bourquin spoke with Mt. Union head football coach Vince Kehres Monday afternoon on the Sam and Brad Show after his Purple Raiders shut out Mary Hardin-Baylor 12-0 Friday in the Stagg Bowl in Salem, VA. 

The victory gives Mount their 13th national title in school history.

Florida Atlantic University radio play-by-play voice Ken LaVicka joined Justin McKinney and Ben Thomas on the Sam and Brad Show to talk about the upcoming Boca Raton Bowl between FAU and the University of Akron. 

Scott Miller from Bleacher Report joined Justin McKinney and Bem Thomas on the Sam and Brad Show Friday to talk about the Carlos Santana deal to the Philadelphia Phillies. 

He also discussed the winter meetings in Orlando as well.

AUDIO Scotty D Picks Bowls, NFL Games

Scotty D picked against the spread in a couple of college bowl games,  Troy (-6 1/2) over North Texas in the New Orleans Bowl  and he's taking the "over" 58 points in the New Mexico Bowl between Colorado State and the Marshall Thundering Herd. 

For the NFL, a two game teaser, the Colts (+10) against the Broncos at home, and the Ravens in a "pick-em" game over the winless Cleveland Browns.
