Aaron has been working with RCRG since August of 2008 covering various news and sporting events. He graduated in 2003 from St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron. He then went onto the University of Akron in May of 2008 with a degree in Radio/TV & Media Productions and a minor in Psychology. It was at WZIP & ZTV where Aaron developed a passion for radio especially Sports Radio. While attending the University of Akron you could hear Aaron on Sundays doing the "Sports Power Talk" program. Aaron covers City Hall, County Council and Akron School Board beats and handles traffic updates weekday afternoons on 1590 WAKR, 97.5 WONE and 94.9 WQMX. Danny Sheridan from USA Today spoke with Sam Bourquin and Brad Russell to talk odds for the Big Game and the possible legalization of sports betting in America. 

Sam Amico caught up with Sam Bourquin and Brad Russell ahead of the Wine & Gold's contest against the Indiana Pacers tonight.

 This week's 1590 WAKR Female student athlete of the week is Anyah Parker from Woodridge High School.

Anyah is a senior standout player on the Bulldogs basketball team. She looking to continue her athletic and acedemic career at The University of Toledo after graduation.

Parker started playing basketball with her Dad at the age of two believe or not. She has loved to play the game ever since. When asked who her favorite player was, Anyah smiled and said "No doubt about it, Blake Griffin." She is a huge LA Clippers fan as well.

Anyah really enjoys Woodridge because of the atmosphere and support from all of the students and faculty support especially at team sporting events.

Sam and Brad spoke with Vince Cellini, who works as part of Cavaliers In The Paint for Fox Sports Ohio. 

 Vince discussed the struggling Cavaliers, Ty Lue's move to put Tristan back into the starting lineup, and moving Jae Crowder to the bench.

Executive Director of the Reese's Senior Bowl Phil Savage joined the Sam and Brad Show to talk about this year's game and some of the notable names you may hear on Sundays.


Radio voice of the Ohio State Buckeyes Paul Keels spoke with Sam and Brad Monday to talk about the surging Ohio State Buckeyes basketball team and their success under first year head coach Chris Holtmann.


The Buckeyes will take on Nebraska tonight 8pm tip-off on 1590 WAKR with coverage beginning at 7:30pm.

AUDIO Green Wins Backyard Rivalry Over Lake

Head basketball coach of the Green boys baksetball team, Mark Kinsley spoke with Sam and Brad Wednesday after their 52-49 win over Lake Tuesday night.

Junior guard Kaleb Martin scored 30 points in the win for Green. The Bulldogs are 7-3 on the season. 

Cleveland native, World Heavyweight Champion, and "The Baddest Man on the Planet", Stipe Miocic spoke with Sam Bourquin and Brad Russell ahead of UFC 220 this weekend.

AUDIO Fred McLeod Discusses Cavs' Struggles

TV voice of the Cleveland Cavaliers on Fox Sports Ohio, Fred McLeod joined the Sam and Brad Show Tuesday to assess the Cavs' loss against Golden State and their recent struggles as of late.
