1590 WAKR Student Athlete of the Week: Madalynn Buttler

Madalynn Buttler is week's female 1590 WAKR Student Athlete of the Week.

Madalynn is a sophomore volleyball player for the Wildcats. She has been first-team All-PTC, as well as being named Player of the Year All-District.

She is actually coached by her mother, head volleyball coach Jessica Butler. When asked what it's like playing with her mom as coach, Madalynn says “It's very interesting, but she is a great coach and she always wants whats best for the team."

Math is Madalynn’s favorite subject, and she enjoys being a student mentor at Mogadore. Madalynn plans on studying occupational therapy in college, while also continuing her volleyball career.

Occupational therapy interests because of her ability to work with all different age groups and people. She is currently looking at schools that offer occupational therapy courses.
