$5K Reward for Info on Copley Road Robber Featured

Akron police are looking for a suspect in a string of armed robberies on Copley Road, and there is a $5 thousand dollar reward offered for help catching him.

Crimestoppers Offers Reward

Summit County Crimestoppers, Inc. is offering a reward of up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for the string of Copley Road Robberies.
Investigators have determined the suspect pictured is responsible for the below previously reported recent robberies.
Aggravated Robbery
Officers were dispatched to the Family Dollar located in the 900 block of Copley Rd last night at
approximately 9:45 PM for a robbery. When they got there, the 42-year-old store clerk told them
the suspect with a hooded sweatshirt pulled over his head entered the store, threatened her as if he
had a gun and demanded money. There was no gun seen and the suspect fled the store in an
unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash. 
The suspect was described as black male, 20-30-years-old, 6’2” – 6’4,” 180-200 pounds and
wearing a grey jogging suit.
Officers were dispatched to a robbery call at Walgreen’s located in the 1300 block of Copley Rd at approximately 7:00 PM yesterday. When they arrived, a 20-year-old employee reported that a black male suspect walked up to the front counter and took money from the register after making a purchase. The suspect had his hand in his pocket as if he had a gun; however, no gun was seen.
He fled the scene eastbound with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect was dressed in all black clothing.
Last night just before 9:30 PM, officers responded to the Little Caesar’s Pizza located in the 1200 block of Copley Rd for a robbery call. When they got there, the employee told them that a male
suspect walked up to the drive thru window and placed an order. The suspect then lifted his sweatshirt to display his handgun he had tucked in his waistband and demanded money from the
register. The employee complied and handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect was last seen running northbound behind the building.
The suspect was described as a dark skinned black male, 18-23-years old, 6’0” and 190 pounds.
He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
On February 12, 2020, at approximately 1:15 PM, officers responded to the CVS in the 1300 block of Copley Rd. for a robbery call. The suspect entered the store and threatened to shoot one
of the employees. He then took an unknown amount of money from the register and fled on foot.
The suspect did not brandish the gun during the incident.
The suspect was described as a black male, 6’-6’2” tall, and weighing 180-200 pounds. He was
wearing black pants and a black hoodie with a white symbol on the front.
