An Akron woman was arrested Wednesday after she reportedly assaulted an employee at a Coventry Township dental office and then trashed that office.
The Summit County Sheriff's Office was called to the Kenmore Family Dental Center Wednesday for a disturbance. The suspect, identified as 33-year-old Tamar Maple, became upset at the office, punched an employee, and then damaged a computer and a dental drill, throwing other items around the office.
By the time deputies arrived, Maple had fled the scene. She was later arrested at her Akron home.
Maple has been charged with felony vandalism, misdemeanor assault, and disorderly conduct. She's been booked in Summit County Jail.
