Human Trafficking Bust in Summit County Featured

The Summit County Sheriff's Office is releasing more details on an undercover human trafficking operation that resulted in several arrests recently. 

According to a press release, on October 15th, several adult females were detained as part of the investigation. Of those that were detained, seven were arrested and charged with several crimes, including soliciting, promotion of prostitution, and more. 

Of those that were detained, however, three of the women accepted offers from the Sheriff's Office to take part in the county's victim services program through Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital. 

The following were arrested: 

John McKinney, age 47 of East Canton; Promoting Prostitution (F-3)

Amy Saller, age 38 of Akron; Soliciting (F-3)

Rebeckah Biggerstaff, age 23 of Canton; Soliciting (M-3)

Courtney Furr, age 28 of Ravenna; Soliciting (M-3)

Kiriana Louie, age 29 of Akron; Soliciting (M-3)
