Ohio's new "Vax-2-School" lottery begins Monday October 3, now with $2 million dollars worth of college and career training scholarships up for grabs, instead of the originally advertised $1 million.
Ohio Department of Health Director, Dr. Bruce Vanderhoff, says the promotion which is designed to increase vaccinations for young people, will now offer one hundred fifty $10 thousand dollar scholarships, along with five $100 thousand dollar, grand-prize scholarships, which can be used at Ohio colleges and Universities, or for career training.
Young people ages 12-25 who have had at least one COVID vaccine shot, are eligible to enter, and the first prize drawing will be the week of October 11.
