Akron Police arrested a man they say stole a bag of cash from the back of an armored vehicle that was parked outside the Circle K in the 1900 block of West Market Street Monday.

Witnesses told police they say the suspect, later identified as 27-year-old Allan Stallings Jr., walk up to the back of the truck while the security armed guard went inside the store to collect the daily deposit.

The driver of the armored car, who remained inside the vehicle, witnessed Stallings grab the bag as well.
