The pandemic has had a major impact on the global food supply chain, with expectations that more than a million people worldwide could starve this year because of disruptions that are making it difficult for farmers to get their crops to market.
But, here in the US, though there have been some disruptions; Dr. Matt Kleinhenz, who teaches Vegetable Crop Physiology & Management at Ohio State University, tells Jeanne Destro that they have largely been resolved as the farmers have adapted to rapidly changing and extremely challenging conditions.
