Outgoing ADM Board Executive Director: Overdoses Down, but Opiod Epidemic Continues Featured

After more than 10 years with the Summit County ADM Board, Executive Director, Jerry Craig, is leaving for a new job. 

Today, he tells Jeanne Destro that even though overdose deaths in our area have dropped; the opiod epidemic continues to rage. For example, he says, dealers are spiking even non-opiod street drugs like cocaine, with fentanyl.

But he says, the global Coronavirus pandemic has actually made it easier for many people in our area to get addiction treatment, because expanded tele-health options mean they can now meet with counselors and other medical professionals by phone or online.
