Dr. Karl Kaltenthaler on Rise in Ohio Extremist Groups Featured

A recent report showed Ohio is second in the country in the number of extremist and militia groups that have popped up due to the rise in anti-government sentiments. How could this be, and why Ohio?

Dr. Karl Kaltenthaler is with the University of Akron’s Bliss Institute, and his focus at the university is on security policy, political psychology, and political behavior. Dr. Kaltenthaler joined the Ray Horner Morning Show to talk about the concerns many have had in the rise of these groups, and he touched on the psychology behind them, from the organization to the optics. He believes many of these domestic anti-government groups are not exactly violent, but there are some who may want to further divide the country and start another civil war.
