The mass vaccination site at the Summit County Fairgrounds opened over the weekend, and it looks to be a rousing success that will be built upon. Donna Skoda is the commissioner of the Summit County Health Department, and she joined the Ray Horner Morning Show with guest host Jeanne Destro to talk about the opening of the mass vax site. The site will be open again this week Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, and the county hopes to have 5,000 people vaccinated during that time. Skoda also touched on other COVID-19 topics such as the potential for workplace vaccinations, and the latest numbers in the area, which, like many places in the north, have seen an uptick.
