Vaccination Strategy Shifts To More Personal Approach Featured

New data from the Ohio Department of Health shows 35 percent of Summit County residents have been fully vaccinated, and 44 percent have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

But, in the face of rising hospitalizations and ICU admissions statewide, more dangerous COVID-19 variants circulating in the community, and some residents being hesitant about taking the vaccine; public health officials are now focusing on bringing the vaccine directly to people in their neighborhoods, and even into their homes.

WAKR Morning Show Host, Ray Horner, talked to Summit County Health Commissioner, Donna Skoda, and started the conversation with a question about when the CDC is going to approve the Pfizer vaccine for children ages 12 and up.
