Memorial Day is approaching, and unlike 2020, the 2021 holiday will have plenty more cookouts and pool parties due to COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations, and deaths trending down.

Dr. Thomas File is a doctor of infectious diseases at Summa Health, and he joined the Ray Horner Morning Show to talk more about how well the vaccines are working not just with the original virus, but fighting off the variants, as well. He also assured skeptical parents about the safety of the vaccines for children, as the goal has been to get as many kids innoculated before the fall school year as possible.
