Cleveland Clinic Akron General President on Boosters, Unvaccinated Patients Featured

As cases of COVID-19 continue to rise in many parts of America, the FDA announced emergency use of booster shots of Pfizer for those over 65 and those at high risk. This news has not come without confusion.

Dr. Brian Harte is the president of Cleveland Clinic Akron General, and he joined the Ray Horner Morning Show to discuss the process of the approval and the rollout of the boosters. He believes the Pfizer booster will be available as early as next week. Dr. Harte also talked about the effectiveness of the vaccines mixed with mask wearing, and how his facility continues to see unvaccinated individuals needing care.

Dr. Harte also talked about how his staff has weathered the storm these last 18 months.
