This week's athletes are from Firestone High School.

Tera Brilmyer swims year-round for the Firestone Akron Swim Team (FAST) and has been a member since age 9.  During that time, she has set several club records and still holds the Lake Erie Swimming 11-12 girls long-course record in 50 fly.  She is a 3-time State qualifier, 3-time All American, and is currently co-captain for her senior year at Firestone High School.  Tera is in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, and a member of NHS.  Tera will be attending Fordham University in Fall 2023 where she will be a member of the women’s swim team.

David Boyce is a senior at Firestone High School and is currently a member of the Boys Varsity Bowling Team.  David was selected as the captain of the team by his peers because of his ability to lead by example in both character and skill.  David led the team in their first match with the high score155 in both individual games.. He is also a 3 year member of the soccer team, 2 year member of the volleyball team and one year member of the cross country team. David backs up his performance on the field with equal ability in the classroom carrying a 3.5 GPA.  After high school, David is going to the Marines and serve his country.
