There was a party at Lock Three in Akron yesterday afternoon, celebrating Rosie the tunnel boring machine's end-of-the-line breakthrough.

Rosie's "big dig" for the city's multi-million dollar sewer project leaves behind a more than 6 thousand foot tunnel, that will hold more than 25 million gallons of stormwater and sewage during heavy rains, and control overflow into the river.
