Family members who have been unable to visit elderly relatives indoors at nursing homes are now allowed to do that again, thanks to new guidance on indoor visitation, from the federal Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

Direction Home Akron-Canton Senior Vice President for Elder Rights, Sam McCoy, says he welcomes the news. But, as he tells Jeanne Destro, just because visitation is permitted; that doesn't mean it will automatically happen at every nursing home right away.
