Two men were injured less than a mile from one another when they got shot in South Akron over the past few days.

First, police say they found a 27 year old man with multiple gunshot wounds at a home in the 600 block of Corice Street, just before 3:00 pm, on Friday. They say he told them he was outside when three men he didn't know got out of a car and started shooting at him. He returned fire, and thr house was struck with bullets as well, in the exchange.

Then, on Sunday, a 41 year old man was shot after he and an acquaintance stopped to talk to an unknown suspect sitting on a dirt bike, in the 800 block of Brown Street. They say the shooter took off on the bike, and now they're looking both for him, and the acquaintance the shooting victim had been with at the time.

Neither of the the men who got shot, experienced life-threatening wounds.
