A frantic mother told Akron police that after she got into an argument over a ride with a Lyft driver on Friday; the guy took off, with her two year old child still in the car.

It happened near the intersection of Arlington Road, and Triplett Boulevard in Akron, but police say that shortly afterward; the Lyft driver dropped the child off, unharmed, at an Akron Fire Station on East Archwood Avenue.

Now, the driver, 52 year old Steven Moore, is charged with kidnapping and posession of drug paraphernalia, after police found what they call a "drug instrument" when they searched his car.
