WAKR and the Ray Horner Morning Show are featuring a member of the black community in Akron who have made an impact by their courage and leadership.

Dr. Demond Scott is with AxessPointe Community Health Center, and though he is originally from Alabama, he has now made Akron his home. Dr. Scott has always made it a point to get involved in the community and helping people, and he has done so with his practice.
