Akron Mayor Looks At Housing, Infrastructure Featured

Each week throughout the pandemic, Akron mayor Dan Horrigan has set aside a few minutes to come on the Ray Horner Morning Show to discuss the biggest items to come across his desk.

This week, Mayor Horrigan touched on the affordability of housing in the city, a decade-long incentiviztion effort to increase the population in Akron. On a related topic, Horrigan says there is "no shortage" of projects going on in the city under the umbrella of infrastructure, and he talked more about what areas will be focused on, especially after the passage of President Biden's recent jobs bill.

With the vast increase in vaccine distributions, the mayor also talked about how to eventually get those shots into the arms into the community, not just the mass vaccination site at the Summit County Fairgrounds.
