The Student Athlete of the Week segment is powered by NECA-IBEW and Akron Children’s Hospital. 

This week's athletes are from Ellet High School.

Alessandra Pinto is a senior with a 3.5 GPA.  She plays soccer for the Ellet Lady Orange.  Alessandra is very involved, she writes for the school newspaper and is a member of the yearbook staff.  She has helped lead the soccer team to years of success while being a four-year starter for the varsity team.  The girls soccer team is experiencing another great season with Alessandra being a team captain.   Alessandra plays as a midfielder for the 12-win Lady Orange soccer team and plays phenomenally on both offense and defense.  She has 14 goals and 15 assists this season. 

Cameron Hinkle  has played football for three years at Ellet High School.  He is the starting inside Linebacker and leads the team in Solo and Total tackles on defense.  Cameron is an excellent student with a 3.8 GPA and is a leader both on and off the field.  Cameron is always willing to put in the work to create a better Ellet Community and help others.
