This week's athletes are from Archbishop Hoban High School.
Amber Watson is a junior on the girls volleyball team. She has helped lead Hoban girls volleyball to a 21-0 record entering tournament play this week. An outside hitter, she ranks in the Top 20 in Ohio with a team-high 312 kills. She also leads Hoban in hit percentage (0.302), and is second on the team in aces (34), digs (199), and assists (280). Amber excels in the classroom as well, carrying a 3.9 GPA. She is a valued member of the Hoban Family and the Class of 2025.
Josh Greer is a senior on the football team. A three-year letterwinner and two-year starter in football, Josh was Hoban's starting tight end for the first half of the season before moving to guard in recent weeks because of injuries along the offensive line. He has played on the other side of the ball as well, rotating in as a defensive lineman. Josh was also a member of Hoban's basketball state championship team last season. He's also an excellent student. He carries a 4.2 GPA and holds multiple football scholarship offers at the FCS level. Josh is a valued member of the Hoban Family and the Class of 2024.
