This week's athletes are from Barberton High School.

Sacorah Norman is a senior and a member of the Varsity Girls’ Bowling Team. She has been one of Coach Sitko’s most consistent bowlers for the 2023-24 season. Sacorah is also a member of the Magics Softball Team. She leads by example in sports and in the classroom. Sacorah is in the Cosmetology Program, carries a Cumulative 3.61 GPA, and is a member of the National Technical Honor Society. 

BHS Bowling Coach Ed Sitko had this to say about Sacorah – “Sacorah is one of the leaders on our team because she leads by example in school and at bowling.  Looking forward to seeing a strong finish to her HS career as we head into the postseason.”

Aiden Smith is a senior and a member of the 2023-24 Varsity Swim Team. He has lettered during his high school career in both swimming and cross country.  Aiden has been a key member of the swim team as he is always pushing himself at practice and meets. Aiden excels in the pool and in the classroom. He carries a 4.25 Cumulative GPA while also taking CCP classes.  

 BHS Swim Coach Fritz Gisewhite had this to say about Aiden – “Aiden epitomizes what it means to be a student-athlete as he excels in the pool and in the classroom.  He has been a joy to coach and has been an important part of the BHS Swim Program.”
