Tuesday was the start of early voting for Ohio’s special election on August 8th. On the ballot is Issue 1, which if passed would raise the threshold for amending the state constitution from a simple majority of 50 percent plus one, to 60%.

Early voting is available at the Summit County Board of Elections from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday, with hours extending in August.
