Fugitive of the Week Out of Stark County

This week's Fugitive of the Week, Jessie Lee Butler III was apprehended by the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force in the 800 block of Wales Rd. NE on Tuesday afternoon. 

Another man, Rushon Patterson, was arrested at the home Butler was found at, on obstruction charges. Patterson was found hiding in the attic of the home.

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Jessie Lee Butler III.

Butler III is wanted by the United States Marshals Service and the Stark County Sheriff’s Office for complicity to discharge a firearm into a habitation and tampering with evidence. Butler III is accused of being in a vehicle that was used in a drive-by shooting into an occupied residence. He is also accused of washing the vehicle to remove gunshot residue.

The shooting happened on May 22, 2018 at a home in the 2500 block of 45th Street NW in Canton Ohio.

Butler III, 21, is a black male, standing approximately 5 feet11 inches and weighing 176 pounds. BUTLER III is known to frequent the Canton and Louisville areas.
