Grab a stack of pancakes and head to the Summit Metro Parks, cause it’s time to celebrate Maple Mania. 

This weekend Summit Metro Parks will be hosting their Maple Mania Open House at the Liberty Park Nature Center. The park says they’ve collected over 1,000 gallons of sap over the last 3 weeks and now it’s time to make some sweet maple syrup.

At this weekend's open house you’ll learn how sap is collected, get the history of maple sugaring, and get an inside look on how sap is turned into syrup. Not to mention some free syrup samples.

The Maple Mania events will take place this Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 4pm.
