Akron Police are trying to identify the 16 to 25 year old male with dreadlocks who shot and wounded a 31 year old man on Firestone Parkway.

It happened July 5th, and today they're sharing the following video clip in hopes someone will recognize what appears to be a teen male hanging out of a white SUV shooting at people with a long barreled gun that looks like a rifle.

You can see people running away in the distance as the shots are fired, and you can also see what appear to be young girls jumping out of the vehicle and running away in a different direction. But then, one of them actually jumps back into the vehicle before it takes off.

Police say Detectives are working now to locate the white Jeep Grand Wagoneer, and to identify the occupants, specifically;  the right rear passenger, who was firing the gun.

Police advise that if you see the suspect(s); consider them armed and dangerous , and ask you not to approach them, but to call 911 instead.
