Murder Suspect Surrenders To Akron Police Featured

An Akron man who was allegedly involved in an ongoing dispute with 38 year old Brandon Daniels, who was killed on June 13th, turned himself in to police yesterday.

Police found Daniels dead in the driver's seat of his car, after he crashed into a pole in the 600 block of Thornton Street. But, they say he had been shot before the crash, and that while they found shell casings on Snyder Street, less than half a mile away from the site of the crash; they did not find the shooter.

Since then, they have been looking for clues, and identified 23 year old 23 Kato Yanzanes as a "person of interet".

He is now charged with murder, and being held in the Summit County Jail.
