Akron Police have released pictures of the vehicle used in the drive-by mass shooting which claimed the life of one man, Lateris Cook, and injured 28 others in East Akron on June 2.

Authorities say it appears to be a white SUV with dark tinted windows. Make, model, and license plate info though; are still unknown, and they are continuing to ask for tips.

A $22,500 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and successful prosecution of the shooter or shooters.

Akron Mayor Shammas Malik says this update brings them one step closer to solving the case, and that they "continue to encourage anyone with any information about the identified vehicle or this shooting to please come forward.”
